You can "be a friend" by joining a Friends of the Library group. These organizations support Forsyth County Public Library branches by sponsoring special events, serving as volunteers in their neighborhood library, and by raising community awareness of the importance of libraries. Any individual may join the Friends.

Friends of the Library associations throughout the county represent communities committed to supporting the Library’s mission: Leading in lifelong learning through community engagement, innovative programs and inclusion.

For information about joining a Friends association, contact your preferred branch.
