All library locations will be closed on Monday, July 4 for the holiday.
Our On The Same Page community read returns this year, and we are ready to announce the title that we will read and discuss this fall.
The Forsyth County Public Library will host two North Carolina award-winning YA authors, Amber Smith and Frank Morelli, throughout June, July, and August. Both authors will share with us their writing processes, inspirations, and latest works. Books and book signing will be available at the close of the event. Registration is not required. Ages 12 and up.
Each Forsyth County Public Library branch location has their own Teen Advisory Board that meets once a month to discuss ways to improve the library's service to teens. Our Teen Advisory Boards help to plan programs, create displays, and suggest resources that the library should purchase. The Forsyth County Public Library's Teen Advisory Boards are made up of our teen volunteers (Ages 12-18). Sign-up for our fall Teen Advisory Boards that meet from September to December is now open.
Call to artists: partner with the library this year and share your creative talents with your community through programs and education.
